Golden Gate Bay Cruise

Sit back, relax, and enjoy a one-hour fully narrated tour of San Francisco Bay. Sail along the San Francisco waterfront, under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, and past the city skyline.

The Golden Gate Bay Cruise operates daily beginning at 10 AM, with departures every 30 to 45 minutes. Departing from the wharf, your tour cruises along the North Beach shoreline past Aquatic Park, Hyde Street Pier, and the ships of the National Maritime Historic Park. The vessel sails directly under the Golden Gate Bridge and provides stunning views of its massive span. The award-winning audio narration is offered in English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, French, Japanese, German, Korean, and Portuguese.

As the tour steams back into the Bay, travel past the wildlife reserves of the Marin Headlands and the legendary town of Sausalito, once home to the 1960s’ flower generation. With Angel Island State Park to the left, slowly cruise around the infamous Island of Alcatraz. On the way back to Fisherman’s Wharf, see the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, and Coit Tower. After a full hour of exciting sights, the barking sea lions at Pier 39 welcome you back to Pier 43 ½, where two National Historic Landmarks await: the WWII submarine “USS Pampanito” and merchant vessel “USS Jeremiah O’Brien.”

A full bar with drinks, snacks and merchandise is available aboard the vessel.

Please exchange your voucher(s) for tickets at the Red and White Fleet box office, located at Pier 43.5 at Fisherman's Wharf. The box office will issue tickets that are valid for any departure during the next 3 months.
